It’s our Triple Prequel Showcase!
In this episode, we go waaayyyyy back in the days, before Cold Slither became a crew, to look into the lives of each member before they met.
Ever sit around with your friends, exchanging stories from the old days of hanging out with one another? Well KLIQ Nation thought it would be fun to share some of our old tales with the listeners. Timdogg, Adam Black and Mr. BAMF share tales of moving spouses, attending Wrestlemania 27 in Atlanta, GA, Goldberg defeating Hulk Hogan for the WCW world title, and much more!
Special short story of how fellow KLIQ Nation member Walker tried to make his first appearance on the show by calling in from work
As long time readers will attest, I am a pop culture journalist of high repute. But aside from cartoons, toy and movies; I would have to say that what I’m most known for, is my hard hitting Professional Wrestling posts. In my countless years covering the world of Wrestling, I’ve created a grand total of (1) article. Which I’m sure you’ll agree, is quite a library.
It was during the research toward this Wrestling library, that I stumbled upon a character that would change my life forever. His name was Paul Bearer and as soon as I saw his work I became mesmerized. Rising above the silly and too often, fake looking world of wrestling, Mr. Bearer carried himself with an otherworldly charm and style rarely ever seen in the world of entertainment. His power over the audience was almost palpable and I knew instantly that he must be more than just a wrestling manager. After a couple of hours of research on the subject, I soon realized that I had no idea just how right I was.
It’s been a long time coming, but finally the last piece of the KLIQ’s master plan is done. When we originally started thinking of ways to express ourselves, we came up with two things: create a website and a podcast show. Last July, The KLIQ Nation website was launched. Now a little less than a year later, I am proud to debut the debut episode of The KLIQ Nation Podcast.

On this week’s WWE RAW Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson returned to confront his Wrestlemania opponent John Cena. Last week Cena cut a promo dissing Rock for saying he’d never leave the WWE, while taking every chance to run and do movies and never show up to WWE live events week after week.
Rock was his usual charismatic self in the ring. He had the crowd eating out the palm of his hands. Whatever phrase he uttered quickly became a trending topic on Twitter. Rock even showed us the goosebumps on his arms, to really let us know what the WWE crowd and the WWE itself meant to him. He grew up in a wrestling family, and it means the world to The Rock.
In this BONUS episode of the Cold Slither Podcast, Classick interviews Eclectik one-on-one to go over some of his memories of 80s WWF, including favorite wrestlers, tag teams, overrated and underrated and other topics that he did not have a chance to chime in on during our recent Episode 9 (“Piledriver”, still available to listen!).
